DOYLESTOWN, Pa– Eastern University Volleyball bounced back from Saturday's loss to Swarthmore College with a convincing win against Delaware Valley College on Wednesday.
The Eagles defeated the Delaware Valley Aggies 25-12, 25-18, 25-18, starting the 2012 Freedom Conference season with a win and continuing the Eagles unbeaten streak against the Freedom Conference.
The Eagles hit .361 (45 kills, 10 errors, 97 attempts) in the match, and held the Aggies to .033 (19 kills, 16 errors, 91 attempts).
Eastern's Katrina Pisch threw down 16 kills with just two errors in 25 attempts (.560) to lead the team. Teammates Kearby Benak and Lauren Sproles recorded 10 kills and eight kills, respectively.
Sophomore Amy Guarino set all three games for the Eagles, distributing 37 assists.
The Eagles travel to Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday for a two-day tournament. The Eagles play Richard Stockton College at 4 p.m. and Franklin & Marshall at 6 p.m. Saturday.
