ST. DAVIDS, Pa.--Eastern University Field Hockey fell to Lebanon Valley College at home Wednesday 2-6.

Eastern fell behind 2-0 after 20 minutes but tied the game with goals from Abby Wagner and Brittany Moyer. Yvonne Herbster earned the assist on both goals. Herbster has 39 career assists and is one behind Amber Shellenberger's (2000-2003) all-time school record.

Herbster created the first goal opportunity when she pushed the ball upfield on the left side, forced the goalie to commit and crossed the ball to Abby Wagner in front of the goal. Wagner finished for her sixth goal of the year.

Brittany Moyer's goal was also her sixth and was set up by Herbster dribbling on the right side and crossing the ball to Moyer about five yards in front of the goal.

However, in the second half, Lebanon Valley scored four goals in a 14-minute span, including Jocelyn Novak's 20th goal of the season. Those four goals came off of just seven shots. 

Lebanon Valley capitalized on its 11 penalty corners, scoring four goals directly after corners. Eastern received 21 corners, 19 in the second half, but were unable to score on those opportunities. 

The Eagles dropped to 6-7 but look to get back to .500 against Manhattanville College on Saturday.
