With power out over much of campus, Eastern University Women's soccer battled top-ranked Messiah for 90 minutes in the wind on Olson Field.

The Falcons scored the only goal of the match as Amanda Naeher pounded home a cross from Erin Hench.

While the Falcons had the better of play, the Eagles were not without chances. Eastern was outshot 13-5 in the contest, but first-year goalkeeper Alysia Goodman stood her ground with seven saves to keep the game within a single goal.
