Coach Azzarano said of the day, "Once we got used to the conditions, we were able to play our game and take care of the ball." Junior midfielder Jessie Basch paced the Eagles with a game-high six goals and two assists. Katie Choquette chipped in with a three goals and an assist.

Lindsey Moosey forced five turnovers and scooped up four ground balls and Linnea Davis forced three with a game-high six ground balls. The Eastern defense helped give goalie Kim Campbell a restful day. The junior net-minder stopped a pair of shots to pick up the win.

Grace Griffith and Erin Fries each scored a pair of goals as ten different Eastern players scored in the win. The Eagles return to action Thursday night at Swarthmore College. The Garnet beat the Eagles in a 13-11 game at Olson Field Last year.
