After giving up a short-handed goal in the second minute of the second half, the Eagles scored three straight in three minutes on a pair of O'Donnell goals around a Mandia tally. The Yellow Jacket defense settled in and goalie Adam Liberto made 8 saves to slow the Eastern advance.
Eastern outshot their hosts 18-2 for the period. The energy expended in the third seemed to run out as the Yellow Jackets scored a man advantage goal in the first minute of the fourth and then answered a Nate Trunfio goal with three straight tallies for the final margin.
Mandia finished with a five point day for the Eagles, who will continue their season with a Spring Break game against Wittenberg University in Clearwater, FL.
