Eastern University Men's Soccer dropped a tight non-league against an outstanding Montclair State University side. 

The host Redhawks controlled play for the opening half and picked up the only goal of the match just after the midpoint of the frame. Montclair State had an 11-0 edge in first-half shots. 

The Eagles mustered a push in the second half and had a 6-1 edge in shots, but Montclair goalkeeper Nick Mele made three second-half stops to preserve the win.
