Steph Garafolo joins the Eastern University Women’s Basketball coaching staff as an Assistant Coach for the 2025-26 season. 

Prior to Eastern, she served as an assistant at Haverford College in 2024-25.

Garafolo, a native of Havertown, is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Marketing. She began her coaching career in November of 2020 at Cardinal O'Hara High School as the Head Junior Varsity Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach. During her tenure, the Lions won 3 State Championships and 1 PCL Championship. In the Spring/Summer, she is the Head Coach of the 2029 GUAA Comets Team out of Philadelphia.

From 2023-25, Steph worked as the Camp and Event Director for City of Basketball Love, a non-profit focused around the coverage of high school and college basketball in and around Philadelphia. With CoBL, she would run college exposure camps and events that benefit young basketball players looking to make the jump to collegiate basketball.

"I am incredibly grateful to be joining the Eastern University Women's Basketball coaching staff," said Garafolo. "I am excited to bring my experience and knowledge of the game to this team as we compete for a Conference Championship. I am eager to learn from Coach Fowler and hit the ground running with this group of players."
