Ross Weyandt returns to Eastern University to serve as the Assistant Athletic Director of High Performance & External Operations. In his role, he will oversee Eastern's Performance staff and be involved in coordinating game-day experiences.Â
He returns to St. Davids after working as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Mount Union and also serving in the same role at Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia. He worked four years on the Eastern Strength Staff in 2023-24. He worked two years as a graduate assistant and before serving in a full-time role in 2022.
He earned a Bachelors in Exercise Science and worked in the athletic Department at Kent State University. He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning coach with the NSCA and is also certified with USA Weightlifting. He competes in CrossFit Competitions and enjoys mountain biking.Â
He earned his MBA in Organizational Leadership at Eastern.
