Dan Mouw enters his 25th year at Eastern University in 2026-27. He currently serves as an Associate Athletic Director and Director of Athletic Communications.
From his arrival in St. Davids in 2002 and the fall of 2016, he was the Head Women's Soccer Coach. In his time leading that program, Mouw led the Eagles to a 165-116-19 record, four conference championships, and a 5-3-1 mark in four NCAA Tournament appearances. He coached four All-Americans and numerous All-Region and All-Conference performers. He took one team to South Africa and two teams to Zambia. His 2008 team reached the NCAA Quarterfinals and was inducted into Eastern's Hall of Honor in 2019.
Mouw has been part of Athletic Communications since 2005. He worked as Sports Information Director from 2005-2013 and for brief stints as an interim in both 2015 and 2016. In his time as SID, he led the efforts to create GoEasternEagles.com. He oversaw two successive redesigns of the site and was involved in the creation of EagleVision. In December of 2016, he moved into his current role as Director of Athletic Communications.
In his 21 years in Athletic Communications he has overseen an increased presence on social media, expanded video, and targeted writing for a department that has grown in size and success. He leads an office that includes a team of student-workers and communications interns to help tell the story of Eastern Athletics.
In addition to his work in Athletic Communications, he serves as the sport administrator for several sports.
Before to his time at Eastern, he taught History and English classes and coached boys and girls soccer at Wheaton Academy in West Chicago, Ill.,
