Chris Medei enters his second season with the Eastern University Baseball program during the 2026–27 campaign, serving as the Assistant Pitching Coach and Bullpen Coach.
Medei plays an integral role in the development of Eastern’s pitching staff, assisting with bullpen operations, daily pitcher development, game preparation, scouting, and recruiting. In addition to his on-field coaching responsibilities, he supports the program’s day-to-day operations and player evaluations, helping identify and recruit prospective student-athletes who fit the Eagles’ culture. His commitment to player development extends beyond the field, emphasizing leadership, accountability, and success in the classroom.
Prior to joining the Eastern coaching staff, Medei was a four-year pitcher at Moravian University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. During his collegiate career, he developed a strong foundation in pitching development, leadership, and the competitive demands of collegiate baseball.
Outside of Eastern, Medei serves as an assistant coach for Hellertown American Legion Baseball, where he continues to mentor and develop high school student-athletes throughout the summer.
Medei is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Management with a concentration in Marketing at Eastern University.
