Abby Lucking comes to Eastern University with an extensive cheerleading experience as both an athlete and coach. She cheered as a youth, high school and all star cheerleader and was a collegiate club cheerleader at Penn State University.
During her time in Happy Valley, she served as a student-coach for the club cheerleading team at Penn State and spent her summers working as a head instructor for the National Cheerleaders Association.
Over the past 10 years, Abby has coached at Garnet Valley High School. Under her leadership, the Jaguars claimed seven PIAA District 1 Championships and 3 PIAA State Cheerleading Championship titles. Coach Lucking was named PIAA Competitive Spirit Coach of the Year for the 2018-2019 season.Â
She lives in Wallingford, PA with her husband and two sons. She works as a preschool speech-language pathologist. She specializes in working with students with complex communication and medical needs.Â
As she arrives at Eastern, Coach Lucking is excited to build a program that is rooted in school spirit, ambassadorship, athleticism, teamwork, and dedication.Â
