SCRANTON, Pa. - Eastern Men's Wrestling improved to 1-1 in dual competition on Saturday afternoon with a 32-20 win over Lackawanna Community College.

Ryan Mansueto,
Nicholas DeLorenzo,
Darrale Barrett, and
Nick Morey all claimed wins in the match.
The Eagles grabbed an early 17-0 lead with wins at 125, 133, and 141. Asfour picked up his 19th win of the season and his 11th via technical fall with an 18-1 victory over Spencer Crawley to begin the day. The Eagles grabbed the full six points at 133 as Orrell won by forfeit, before Mansueto recorded his team-leading 24th win of the year at 141. He pinned John Almonte in 2:36 for his 12th fall victory of the season.
Lackawanna went on to win at 149 and 157, cutting the Eastern lead to 17-8, but DeLorenzo and Barrett won at 165 and 174 to push the Eagles' advantage to 28-8. DeLorenzo recorded his 20th win of the year with a technical fall victory over Rich Leslie. Barrett went on to pin Malik Nelson in 1:49, picking up his 10th win of the season in the process.
Lackwanna claimed wins at both 184 and HWT, but Nicholas Morey sealed the overall win for Eastern at 197. He recorded the first major decision win of his career, 15-5, over Adan Salazar for his third win overall.
Eastern will be in Ohio next weekend for the John Summa Invitational hosted by Baldwin-Wallace.
