DALLAS, Pa.— Four women won their brackets and two more reached championship bouts as Eastern University Women's Wrestling posted another strong outing at the Cougar Classic hosted by Misericordia University.
All seven Eastern wrestlers placed in their brackets.
Jesenia Camargo,
Josey Wehr,
Savannah Witt, and
Zoey Haines all won their brackets.
Jessenia Camargo went 4-0 in a round-robin bracket to earn the title at 103 pounds. She claimed a victory on points over Mandy Gavares from Ursinus in her closest match.
Anaelis Morales claimed fourth place in a round-robin bracket at 110 pounds.

Andrew Taylor was very pleased with a great outing from Wehr at 117 pounds. She won her first two matches by superior points before besting York's Gisele Ramirez 17-9 in the Championship match. Ramirez came into the day ranked sixth nationally.
Witt went through the 124 pound bracket with efficiency, After a technical fall win in the first round and a pair of quick pins, Witt ground out an 11-0 win over Kalli Roskos from Ursinus in the Championship match. She is now 15-1 this year.
Paige Jackson won her first two matches before falling to York's Maura White in the Championship match at 138 pounds.
Haines went 5-0 in her round-robin bracket. She did not give up a point or wrestle in the second round. She recorded three pins and two technical falls to improve to 16-1 on the season. She has yet to lose to a collegiate wrestler.
Olivia Kinder won four of her five matches on the afternoon. After falling in the second round in the semifinals, Kinder won her consolation semifinal and the third place match at 160 pounds.
Maya Krieger won her first two matches by pin before falling late in the first round in the Championship match.
After a week off for Thanksgiving, the Eagles will be back on the mat at York on Dec. 6.
