Women's Golf Falls at Susquehanna in Match Play Event

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - On Thursday, Eastern Women's Golf traveled to Susquehanna Valley Country Club to compete against Susquehanna in a match play tournament. Senior Marin Dremock picked up a victory against Susquehanna's Erin Hahn and finished first as an individual, but the Eagles dropped a 4-1 decision to the Redhawks. 

On the 71-par course, Dremock played excellent golf on the front nine, finishing with a +1 35. Together with four pars, the Drums native finished with birdies on hole seven and nine. Dremock clinched the victory with her third birdie on hole 12, ending her round with a +2 49. 

First-year Jessie Schreiber was second on the Eagles with a 61, while sophomore Madison Howes finished third, carding a 73. 

Eastern will be back in action on Tuesday for the Alvernia Spring Invitational.
