Women's Golf Falls in Match Play Round at Susquehanna

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - On Wednesday, Eastern Women's Golf concluded its fall season against Susquehanna in a match play tournament at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club.

First-year golfer Jeannie Shore hung right with Susquehanna's Kennedy Petrovich on the back nine to start, firing a 43 with a birdie on hole 18. Petrovich, however, pulled ahead, and won with a six-stroke lead with five holes to play.

Sophomore Kylie Smith was second on the Eagles with a 63, while Jenna Crowley ended her round with a 67.

Eastern Women's Golf will return to action this spring.
