LEBANON, Pa. - Eastern Women's Golf opened its spring season at the Lebanon Valley Invitational on Monday afternoon at the Lebanon Country Club. Junior
Marin Dremock recorded the fifth top-five finish of her junior season to kick off the spring.
Dremock finished in third place out of 30 competitors with a score of 86, shooting 42 on the front nine and 44 on the back. The Drums, Pa. finished the day with seven pars. Head Coach
Samantha Hightower was also pleased with her three other golfers,
Lindsay Addink,
Jenna Crowley, and
Madison Howes, all of whom competed in their first-ever collegiate golf match.
"I am so proud of my team today," Hightower said. "Lindsay crushed a drive for a new PR. Marin hit a great shot out of a green side bunker four feet from the hole, which she sank for par. Madison had a spectacular nine foot putt, and Jenna hit some great shots as well. My team showed determination and great team attitudes. Great start to this season."
Eastern will be back in action on Tuesday, April 11 at the Alvernia Invitational. The event will be held at the LedgeRock Golf Club.
