ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Marin Dremock and Elaina McGarrigle began the spring season on the right foot for Eastern Women's Golf, both finishing in the top-five at the Eastern Invitational on Thursday at the St. Davids Golf Club.

Dremock finished the day as the tournament runner-up, carding an 83 with seven pars. McGarrigle placed fifth in the tournament, compiling four pars and finishing with a score of 90.

"It was a long, cold, and wet day today," Eastern Head Coach Bridget McLaughlin said. "But I was really proud with how they both stayed really focused throughout the day. Today was a great way to start out the spring season on a high note."

Ursinus won the team championship between the two full teams that competed, while Jefferson's Ammala Moua scored an 82 to finish as the individual champion.

The Eagles will be back in action next weekend, taking part in the MAC Preview Tournament at the Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood.
