Mike Wilson

Mike Wilson began coaching Eastern's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams in 2011. Wilson also started the track & field programs for the 2015-16 school year. Wilson, a 2010 graduate of Eastern, held the record for the fastest 8K in program history and was an influential leader in the program and on campus in his time as a student.

Under his leadership, both Eastern squads have grown in size and competitiveness. Wilson works  to tailor workouts to meek the individual needs of his runners and to enable his student-athletes to continue to make strides toward excellence.

Eastern Cross Country has taken a big step forward with the addition of track and field.

Eastern's Men had four runners earn All-MAC Recognition at the 2017 meet and Doug Kramer earned All-MidEast Region honors in his first regional race. The Eagles finished third at the MAC Championship Race and ran to a ninth place finish at the MidEast Regional.

Eastern's Women have also grown in success. Josie Rupert won the MAC Championship in 2014, and the Eagles finished fifth at the 2017 MAC Championships with three runners earning All-MAC recognition.
