Leslie Messick DeMasters ‘10 was a standout defender from Lewes, Delaware. She played in three NCAA Tournaments in her four seasons with Eastern Field Hockey. She was named an NFHCA All-American in 2009.
Through her career, the Eagles won 65 contests and three conference championships. The team amassed 29 shutouts in that time. Leslie was a two-year captain who led her team to Freedom Conference Championships and opening round wins in the NCAA Tournament in each of her final two years.
After graduation, Leslie joined the Eastern coaching staff. In her time as an assistant, the Eagles made three more trips to the NCAA Tournament and she was named department Assistant Coach of the Year.
