Kate Admas Conneen was inducted into Eastern's Hall of Honor in April of 2012. She was introduced by Eastern Volleyball Coach Mark Birtwistle. Adams is the second Eastern Volleyball player inducted into the Hall of Honor.
Conneen twice earned PAC Player of the Year honors for volleyball and was Eastern's first AVCA All-American as a senior in 2003. A dominating middle hitter, Adams graduated as Eastern's career leader in kills (1,789) and blocks (464).
She set the Eastern single season kills mark of 637 in 2003. In that year she helped the Eagles reach an NCAA 'Sweet 16' for the first time in any sport.
Her career mark for kills stood until this fall when Courtney Reinhold, a 4-time All-American, broke the mark. Conneen surpassed fellow Hall of Honor Member Lisa Sondej to grab the career record in blocks. Her single season kills mark is likely to stand for a long time. She also has the second highest single-season kill total of 594. At the time of her induction, she was the youngest member of the Hall of Honor.
