Ashlee Keyser-Filchner joined Eastern's Hall of Honor in 2017. She is the most prolific hitter in the history of Eastern University Softball. She hit over .400 in both of her final two seasons and is still the program-leader in hits (161), RBI's (115), and career batting average (.381). She earned All-Region recognition as a senior.
In addition to her abilities at the plate, she was a tremendous fielder who committed only one error in her time at first base.
Even with her accomplishments on the field, Keyser was introduced first as a good teammate who played an important role in reviving a program. She also played basketball at Eastern. In accepting the recognition, she thanked her coach, the late Mark Ambler and his family for their support and her parents for their investment in her.
